The room was pre-heated, side table lights were on, and low volume jazz was playing - very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were awesome and accommodating. Great location and reasonably priced for a quick getaway. Good-sized room and comfortable bed. Laundry room was efficient. Separate building ensured a quiet stay. Free Wi-Fi, shared kitchen, and board games available. Will definitely recommend for a budget-friendly break!

I keep coming back because Summer House Newtown always feels like home. The staff found a lost item for me once, which I appreciate. It has all the amenities I need and I love coming here for a romantic escape.

The staff were amazing - so friendly and accommodating, they made sure we had a room away from the smoking area and even arranged for our rooms to be next to each other. The location was fantastic, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The accommodation was basic but it met our needs and was clean. We loved watching the stream of workers heading out for the day in the morning. The parking was available at a reasonable price, and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils for shared use. The location was so convenient, close to transport and a wide variety of restaurants. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was quiet and respectful. a great place to stay in a favorite area of Sydney. We would definitely stay there again.

It was so convenient being close to all the restaurants, shops, and even a park to relax in. the staff were friendly and the bathrooms were surprisingly clean. I also appreciated the proximity to the train station, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

We were only a short 10-minute drive away from some of Sydney's iconic attractions, such as the Sydney Opera House and Star Casino.
